Assign Permissions

Granting permissions is necessary to allow users to access required forms or data. Permissions can be granted as follows:

  • Assignment of permissions via classifications: when assigning a classification to an entity the associated permissions are assigned automatically. See How to Predefine Classification Types > Assign Permissions Per Classification Type
  • Assignment of specific permissions to individuals: can be used to assign additional permissions to an entity. See How to Assign Permissions

With the Permissions feature you can:

  • See what permissions the entity has been assigned based on its classification
  • See what additional permissions have been granted
  • Distinguish whether the issued permissions are access or data permissions
  • Assign additional permissions to an entity

Control minimum permissions via classifications, and assign additional permissions individually if necessary.
